When I sing the chorus to the song Hungry by Kathryn Scott, which says “Jesus You’re all this heart is living for”, I often change the words to “Jesus You’re all this heart’s worth living for.” The greatest purpose in my life has become to uplift the name of Jesus Christ, because His name is Faithful and True (Revelation 19:11) and He is the Everlasting God in my life who does not faint nor grow weary (Isaiah 40:28). My faith in Christ has changed my life. Through repentance and faith, He has freed me from the bondage of sin that was leading me to hell, and His grace continues to transform me every day. God calls each person to know Him through Jesus Christ by faith, and He asks us to trust Him in this offer of new life through being born again by His Spirit. He wants us to believe Him by faith and trust in the saving work of His Son.

Regardless of how things seem, I know that His way is better than my way, and that He holds all things in His hands even when I can only see His purpose dimly. “God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea” (Psalm 46:1-2). Jesus came to earth neither to be called “Good Teacher” nor to make good people, but He came to conquer sin and open the way to the Father in heaven. He deserves to be praised! He deserves our love & obedience! Enter by faith in Your hearts into a bond with the Father through Jesus that you too might be able to join in the eternal chorus: “For He is good and His mercy endures forever!” (Psalm 106:1).
